Advice on where to live in Tampa

It would be AT LEAST one hour. I know this because we used to live just a few miles north of WC, and my hubby had to drive to downtown Tampa every day. The traffic is so bad, it often took him one hour and fifteen minutes, door to door. You do NOT want that commute. WC is a nice enough area, but it is really growing and the roads can't keep up in that direction right now.

Someone mentioned Temple Terrace - that is a good option if you want to look into that. Very nice within its boundaries, 5 minutes to USF, and not too bad a drive to TGH.

I recently worked with a doctor doing her fellowship between TGH and the hospital at USF. She lives in Brandon near Kings and Bloomingdale. She says her commute to TGH is 20-25 minutes using the Crosstown and it's 30-35 minutes to USF on Interstate 75. She said she's never had any problems with the traffic (just problems with being on-call at all hours).

Does Brandon have safe parks where you can take a walk in the evenings?

Yea... It really is probably about an hour drive to TGH in the mornings. Temple Terrace has some very nice areas to check out. Good luck
