Just moved to Clearwater. Anyone have experience with this company, esp the one on Gulf-to-Bay?
Thanks

Default BRIGHTNOW DENTAL aka CASTLE DENTAL

Castle Dental performed unnecessary work on me and my wife ("deep cleaning") and almost caused my wife to lose one molar.

Brightnow is our only option with our dental insurance. The last cleaning I had was called a "Deep Cleaning" and they charged me $65 when my co-pay was $5. I've had deep cleaning before and what I had that day was a normal cleaning.

When they measured the depth of my gums the crammed the probe in like a needle. It hurt and of course I had 7's and 9's, they made the hole!

I went to the one in Spring Hill. They are a dental factory aimed at having you do a ridiculous amount of work. I wanted my teeth cleaned and they refused unless I had all this other crap done that was unecessary. They tried doing the same to my husband. I do not recommend them at all. They are not a normal dentist office. Go to a private dentist.

Are they similar to the Coast Dental Clinics (franchise) and Gental Dental? I went to a Coast Dental and they did a whole bunch of EXPENSIVE cleaning on me that was not covered by the insurance (which was the only reason I went to that God-forsaken place.

I agree, get a private dentist.
