Greetings. Stumbled on this forum awhile ago and thought this might be a good place to do some investigating. My wife and I are in our mid-40's and have been stressed out to the max (as, i'm sure many of us have) lately. So we have decided to cut loose and be a little daring to blow off some steam by taking a weekend vacation at either a clothing optional/nude beach or resort. As we live in Naples we would prefer somewhere no farther than Tampa. I have done a little homework online and have read about haulover beach and Caliente in Tampa. As this will be our first time doing this we are a little nervous, but at the same time a bit titillated. Not so much looking for a lifestyle change as a chance to cut loose for a weekend. Appreciated you opinions and advice.

Calienta is actually in Wesley Chapel. It is not a resort, but rather a development like many others around here, except it is clothing optional. There are some clothing optional beaches. I have heard there is a section of Ft. DeSoto Beach. I bet there is a website that could list clothing optional places.

If I am not mistaken, I think there is another place like Caliente. I just don't know the name.

My termite/bug guy said he went in to Caliente to do some spraying for a couple living in there. They do walk around naked. Both the husband and wife were totally naked while they were talking with him.

Paradise Lakes is a nudist resort, clothing optional. It was one of the first nudist colony in Tampa, back then there wasn't much there (pun intended)... It is now a resort with all the amenities. They have a website..
