Question Harbor Island Living???
I can't seem to find a 2BR/2BTH 1000 sq. ft apartment/condo for rent on Harbor Island under $1000. Is this a relatively expensive area? I really like the fact that it's close to everything. Why are the apartments so small in Tampa? Are there other areas just as nice or similar, where I don't have to sacrifice space or too much in rent??? I would like a place that has the following:

Hip/Central vibe living
Fitness Center
Parking
Pool
Cable/Internet
15-20mins from Mac Dill AFB

A lot of the apartments/condos on Harbor Island have higher HOA - leading to higher rental prices. Also, many are gated, so they cost more. Being so close to downtown Tampa - and convenient to the Channelside, TGH, downtown makes the rental higher.
