Israelis In Ruskin
Hey people
Are there any israelis in Ruskin and the area?
Im looking for Israeli supermarket and israeli food also.
Anyone knows if there is any?

There is not much in Ruskin related to Israeli food/culture, etc....
Your best bet for Israeli/Jewish culture is in Palm Beach/Broward County.......
However there are a few temples up in Tampa.....

Thanks, I guess the only Israeli food I can get is in Miami :-P
I'm not much of a religious person but if there is a jewish community in Tampa I sure would like to know how to find them, maybe they will have more info on that matter. I tried to look in google but no luck...

Try Emerald Hills in Hollywood, FL. Also, coastal Miami-Dade County. This area easily has the largest concentration of Israelis outside of NYC. The rest of S. FL is more of a New York, European-tied Jewish community with a far different cuisine.

You might want to look up synagogues in Tampa and ask them.
THey usually have lots of info that you might benefit from.

I don't think you will find anything in Ruskin, but maybe this website can help you find something nearby, like Bradenton.

There are definately no Israeli grocery stores in Ruskin but there is a strong Jewish community in Sun City Center. You might contact Beth Israel and see if anyone there has any suggestions for you.
I am not Israeli or Jewish but I too miss the Israeli food from Miami. If you find someplace here in the Tampa area please let us know! |

There is a Kosher Deli in St. Pete called Jo-Elle and they have pretty much of what you might be looking for in the way of delicatessen food stuffs....you could also contact the Jewish Community Center on Gunn Highway for more information...good luck!
