Default Relocation questions where to live

Hi, considering a move from SEFL to Tampa and need advise on where to rent/buy. Looking for a fairly newer home, 2000 and up. My wife will possibly work near Palm Harbor area and I'll be working near Al Lopez Park (33614 zip).

What communities of SFH would you recommend so that our commute is not too long? Need something with good elem. schools around, we have two kids.
Money is not that much of an issue, we can afford up to $500k-600k home but would like to stay below that price without sacrificing much of the above mentioned.

Thanks

If you prefer and "old town" feel, you can also try Safety Harbor. Its a real nice area and convenient to the main arteries of the Bay area. Although not a ton of "new" developments, there are a lot of newer built homes where people bought and scrapped. In your price range you should be able to get near the water with a little looking.

To be near the two areas you mention I would say Oldsmar, which has EastLake, Safety Harbor and Westchase . The others mentioned are too far away from where you would be working.
