BEach Sparty spots on treasure island
I live near Fort Myers Beach which is a party beach. lots of hotels with bars and etc... We are thiking of heading up to Treasure island Saturday. Is treasure Island a beach were there is some partying to be had? LOL also anyone know of any good areas for partying? It seems like its a long walk to anywere, is that true? Also any recomendations for hotels under 130 for the night? We are celebrating our anniversary and since no kids, we want to have some fun! If treasure island is not the place can you advise us elsewere! We just want blue waters and bars!
Thanks!

I was at Treasure Island last weekend not much of a party beach... I think Clearwater would be better for you.

Caddy's and Ka'tiki on Sunset Beach, Treasure Island. Go to the first and then Ka'tiki for entertainment. Well, actually, you'll be entertained at both. Caddy's has the upstairs bar - no kids. Ka'tiki never has kids. Good entertainment at both.... get a cab.

St. Pete beach is fun and has a number of tiki bars you can walk to along the beach.
No cab required, and no walking along the street.
Swigwam (at the Travelodge)
Ricky T's (at Howard Johnson resort)
The Undertow (crowded but fun)

I went memorial day and stayed two nights at the St Pete Beach Travelodge. That was the only hotel I could find for about a $100 night. Welcome to Gators Cafe "gators" the best party spot on Treasure Island. Cool for the day, but I'd taxi it to either central ave in downtown st pete or even Y'Bor of Tampa for the night time.
