Hello,

We are looking into purchasing a home in the Panther Trace division... I am interested in what you think about the area? Also, has anyone heard anything bad about Smith Family Homes?

Thanks

I love the area, my stepdaughter and her husband live in Summerfield , they like it out there. I hope they widen 301 more, they need it out there.
It use to be be nothing out there, now there is new publix and Super Walmart close by. But you will love the Brandon Mall, one of nicest around. Dont forget to eat at Olde Chicago.

Hello Paulvilla72

I like panther Trace. i almost bought a home there. Rt301 needs to be expanded and can be a headache. I'm sure theyll do something in due time. If you have any questions about the area let me know and Ill be happy to answer them for you.

Default Panther Trace

PaulVilla72,

The Riverview (Panther Trace) area has been growing with the real estate boom that started a few years ago around Tampa. Although it has slowed recently, you'll find many inventory homes being offered at exceptional discounts.

The reason: Builders have money invested in land and must continue to build these communities, albeit at a much slower pace. Once a home becomes "inventory" they HAVE to move it! It costs too much to carry it.

My first question to you is, where will you be commuting to?? The commute to Tampa can be a bit of a bear from there!

How is safety and crime in Southfork and Panther Trace neighborhoods? We are relocating next month and went house hunting last week. We are very confused still as to where to move. Riverview, Valrico or Fish Hawk? We have a middle school aged daughter. We were suprised by the diversity of the neighborhood. Is one area safer to have our teen walking and biking around then another? Please help! Thanks!
