My Homeowners Insurance has already gone up 35% since last year due to "approved rate changes"...

Actually my HO went down for the last 2 years. We were forced to switch because Ins. stopped writing in Fl and we were taken over by another comp. with the same conditions and but the premium went down a lot...Now I'm paying $ 1120.- (just paid yesterday) for a 3475 sqft home outside of a flood zone...Everything is incl. even personal property for over $ 200K, except from flooding, but we live more inland.
