I think they paid in the high 70s in 1992. Last time I looked at the Zillow "zestimate" I think it was in that range. She's done a lot of remodeling to the place in the last year or two and it's really quite nice as a result. Lucky for her the boyfriend is a contractor, so she was only "paying" for the materials, if you know what I mean.

It's got an updated kitchen and bath which are very nice, however, it's still a 1,000 sf single story block house built in the 60s. Whoever would buy it would get a pretty nice little starter home, if you can overlook the neighborhood around it.

When the time comes I don't think we'll have any problem unloading it as long as the surrounding homes haven't gone in the toilet by then. I don't think they will have based on the way things are at present. I hope.
