I understand that! the traffic is aweful! Now from Fish Hawk it might not be too bad because you have the option to take Boyette but then again I know the traffic gets rough down that way since there is only one lane in and one lane out...who the heck thinks of these roads?! They do a horrible job!

River Hills area is aweful as well. My daughter's school is right down the street and I fight traffic to and from all the time. I can't stand it!

We close on our townhome on Fri. and it seems as though 301 into Riverview gets really backed up. I was coming from a friend's house one day and decided to look down 301 to see how traffic was around rush hour (I live where I work so I never have to deal with traffic) and I was shocked to see rows of cars! 301 has like 3 lanes, you would think that would be sufficient for that area, but I guess with all the homes that sprouted up over the past few years, it just isn't enough.

Are you familiar with the traffic on 301 headed South during rush hour? Or is anyone? I'd like to know what I am getting myself into, lol.

If you live South of the river, heavy traffic will always be a part of your commute! Remember there are only 3 ways across the river. 301, I-75 and Bell Shoals. (and 41 too if your in the Gibberview area) if at any time there is an acident on any of those routes, you may want to call in sick. lol.

OH NO! My new place is located (coming from Brandon) right after the bridge on 301. It's right before Boyette...so looks like I should leave really early, huh? I have to get from there to Lithia Pinecrest where my daughter's school is located...in the morning-so do you think I need to leave atleast 30-45 mins. early? Will I be able to cross 301 to get in the turn lane to make a u-turn or is the traffic super heavy and won't allow?

I rode Against it yesterday morning heading out to a park... free sailing for me but the line waiting for the light at Bell Shoals to turn right towards Bloomingdale had to be a half a mile long. Crazy...

OUCH! that's gonna be fun. *insert sarchasm! JK. You shouldn't have too much trouble in that direction. getting back home might be an issue though. I would give yourself about 20 minutes from home to school.
