Many people are gonna miss our last cold winter once our gulf water temps get above 85. Once we get stuck in a reverse west wind flow with nite time lows in the 80's and dew points near 80's many people are gonna wish for Feb weather with highs in the 50's.

It's gonna be pure hell soon folks.

On how many threads at once will you complain about the heat? Maybe you should move elsewhere? I don't think complaining here is going to adequately alleviate your discomfort. If you head to a different climate, you might become a happier person... and this community might become a bit more objective without all of your "pure hell" comments on every weather-related thread.

Eh. While some will miss the cold, many of us won't. Pure hell? Not to me. Not to a lot of other folks who choose to live here. The heat is heavenly as far as I am concerned. If I couldn't stand it I would move.

Cuba? I can only guess you have never been there. Cuba is worst than Florida come Summer time, even Spring.

True! Queensland is even worse. There are other reason for me wanting to live in Cuba and or Queensland and that is great grouper and snapper fishing and no more winters as i don't like winter. Plus i love heavy t stroms and rain something i don't see much of in my part of FL.

I fished offshore for a living for over 30 years and would sometimes sneak into Cuba's waters and fish for ball bats and misty grouper in 600 to 1200ft of water.

All danger of frost has past. Maybe it will return in December for a day or two this year instead of a dozen. We will soon have some good beach weather. Can't wait to feel the sand between my toes again. Lido beach here we come.

Old thread, but now current topic.

Wasn't today's 70-degree weather great? Even the past week's weather, although chilly, is much better than this.

Our forecast:

The same area of high pressure that had frozen us during the overnights with a light northerly flow will move out of the Deep South and into the Atlantic, producing a delightfully-warming southeasterly breeze this weekend. This will result in a significant warming trend with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the 40s and 50s.
