Hello everyone

My GF and I are taking a trip down to the area next weekend (June 2-5) and we're wondering if anyone has any hotel suggestions. We're both 23, looking for a place ON the beach that is walking distance to the bars and to the trolly stops to take us into St. Petersburg. Money is the big factor, as we would rather stay in a motel on the beach type place rather then the big chain resorts on the water.

We've stayed in St. Pete Beach before but our hotel was too far from the beach, and it was quite dirty. Any help on cheap, clean, fun places in ANY of these three locations would be great. We're mostly looking for something on the Gulf Blvd. there.

Thanks!

Heres a thread from a few months back that may help

http://www.city-data.com/forum/tampa...ort-hotel.html

The non-traditional places mentioned here are actually pretty good deals that may save you some money but still be in a good place.

I'll be there in 2 weeks myself, but will be staying in Orlando most of the time this time around with just a couple days there on the Gulf coast.

^ The links in that other thread are pretty helpful. Thanks.

If anyone else has some suggestions, it would be appreciated as well.
