Hi everyone,

Still thinking about moving back to the Gulf within the next 2-3 years after my fiance are married and maybe the FL unemployment problem eases up on us. {Really saddens me, I hope things get better as soon as possible!!!}

After browsing around I saw the Palm Vista apartments on Horatio St. and am curious if it is a bad area or a decent area? It looks very accessible to dtown and the price is great for us - saving up for home ownership and happy to live a simple, saving lifestyle etc. Please, if you can share with me if this is not a recommended apartment complex or not the best area I would appreciate it!

Thanks again...

*sorry screwed up I meant Palma Vista

This is a good area IMO. I wouldn't be afraid to live there.

Thanks so much, it looked great to me via google/maps/streetview and by all of the surrounding businesses.

Appreciate it! I have done some preliminary research online at various apartment rating websites but haven't seen a whole lot. If anyone else can add to my question and if anyone has heard negative or positive things about this apartment complex that would be great.

I agree with the above posters. I don't have knowledge of the apartments specifically, but this location is very close to great entertainment/bars/restaurants, etc. My brother lives very close and he enjoys it, plus the commute to downtown is very easy.

Good Luck with the move!

Thank you very very much for the input, this helps me finally pick a part of Tampa. Even though the apartments are very small {1b/1b} they are CLEAN, updated, nice and gated with keycode access. The rent is under $700! Perfect for my fiance and our 7lb silky terrier If anyone else just wants a nice small apartment they should check them out, the prices really are great and the kitchens are nice!
