thank you very much.
I would choose other neighborhoods rather than E. Busch. I have recommended to a couple of people to check out the Lodge at Lakecrest, which is about 1/2 mile from USF on McKinley Dr.

Good luck!

i would NOT suggest the lodge it is right across from busch gardens meaning traffic will be backed up in that area during holidays and the summer.

Definitely no on those E. Busch addresses. Crime can be anywhere but there have been numerous rapes and murders in that vicinity. Look at the I75 corridor - Much safer.

I am also moving around the USF area this fall. What are some good apartments that are SAFE in the area? I heard a lot of places around the USF area have this problem such as Collegiate halls.

I am looking to spend no more than $500 for a 2 bedroom(split with a friend) including utilities.

Any more opinions on Carlton Arms? Is it really a safe neighborhood? I don't want to worry about my car getting broken into nor my apartment. A lot of people say apartments close to USF are not very safe, but Carlton Arms North apartments are 2 miles away from USF.

This is starting to become disappointing. I really want to move out this summer for USF, but it looks like no place is safe. One guy said Carlton Arms North is safe and now you are saying its dangerous. Are there any safe locations for a reasonable price? I really don't want to have to live at home and commute.

Thanks!

Did you check out BoardWalk? I know students who live there and love it, in fact they were crushed they had to move out because they graduated! It is for students only. The rent is around $500/mo and it is set up where every bedroom has its own private bath. Ck it out if you haven't, (If you need/want to go on a wait list if it is full I still have contacts who live there, let me know). I will ck back or DM me. If you get desperate, I can ck with the students I know to see if they have knowledge of any openings at safe, nice places close by and connect you up. Good luck to you!

Boardwalk at Morris Bridge is cheap, furnished, individual leases but for not much more cash a month you can find much nicer places around usf

There are some good apts in the area and Carlton Arms is one of them. Stay away from anything on Florida or Nebraska. The area is called Suitcase City because it is so transient plus lots of crime.
