Go see the Yankees Spring Training at Steinbrenner Field (or visit the Phillies, Orioles, Pirates, Tigers).

Steinbrenner Field - New York Yankees & Tampa Yankees

Thanks but I'm not into baseball that much.

At this time of the year, where would you go in FL during the weekend for traveling?

Thanks,

If I was in Florida this time of year and had time to travel I would go to Disney World and Universal Studios. I would imagine the lines are pretty short this time of year!

Unless they opened up the Harry Potter part in Universal I would think that they are. I don;t recall them stating any of the rides were brand new when I visited in December. I think Soarin' was one of the newest rides at Disney and I may be wrong but think Spiderman, Incredible Hulk and The Simpsons are the newest rides at Universal. Come to think of it, The Simpsons may not have been around last year. I dunno. It is a great ride though!

I'm not so sure that the lines would be short this time of year. It is the begining of Spring Break Season. One of the busiest times of the year for the Orlando Parks. Even BG Africa in Tampa was packed when we were there for Spring Break.

I did take those rides last year, I liked Spiderman best. I've only been to Epcot and did not like it one bit. All the rides are for little kids.

Panama City Beach, Daytona Beach, Florida Keys/Key West, South Beach/Miami, Clearwater Beach, and Orlando are the biggest draws for College Spring Break in Florida. March 6-21st is the peak of Spring Break season, but it runs through April 4th.

Busch Gardens? Davey Jones will have a concert during the week this coming week. There are other concerts in the park as well.

NHL Lightning have a game tonight at the St Pete Times forum. Very cheap tickets available at the door.
