Hello All,

Is there a number that I can call to find out the local cable provider for my area? I'm moving from Tennessee on Monday to the Riverview area. Thanks!

Yeah but at what cost? not to mention being locked into a 2 year contract and God forbid you want to cancel.......not as good from that perspective.....I can't recommend that in good faith, sorry.

We are very happy with Verizon. It isn't the only option. You may not want to be locked in, but someone else may want to have another choice. We have the whole package of cable, cell and internet. The cable clarity is better than Brighthouse and is cheaper when you combine.

There is also DirectTV. My neighbor loves hers.

well, I don't spend time watching TV that much to care for the quality....all I know is that Verizon is having pretty abusive "rules" as far as I am concerned and would prefer Brighthouse over them any day now.

We have Brighthouse since 2003 and have called their support 3 times!

I have Brighhouse for the cable, phone and internet. All in all i have been happy, once they dropped the ball when my cable modem went out, but did refund some of my bill for that month.

For the best HD i just get OTA - HD for free and get the best pic compared to cable.

I kinda like the idea of a two-year contract. At least I know they won't change their rates during that 24 months.

Actually, the introductory "offer' ends after the 1st year, and your monthly payment will increase after that, I suggest you call them and find out by how much before signing up...

I agree. You should call and ask questions. We have had Verizon for 3 years with no increase. I don't know about Verizon's customers service because I have never needed them.

When we were switching from Brighthouse to Verizon, Brighthouse warned us about Verizon. Brighthouse did say that if we decided to go back to Brighthouse, they would help us and we would not have to pay the cancellation fee. We see no need to cancel with Verizon because we are happy with them.

You should also check out Dish. The only problem my neighbor has had with their Dish is when the weather is particularly bad, there service gets interrupted.
