I can't post any real estate sites, I see, so I can't show you, but I'm seeing prices for 1-bedrooms within your price range. You should be able to find them on your own by googling.
It's too far away from Dunedin for us, it's in Palm Harbor. No pets as well I believe.
Now if I can just find some pet friendly places!
Oh, and gee, I wish I could find the hoa organizations for the places I'm looking at--I've looked but can't seem to find anything useful. (OK, I found the Patrician Oaks one, moderately useful:
