We have been stuck in a reverse west wind flow all month. But our local weather people keep saying our normal pattern is the southeast wind flow and that pattern has been dead for over 20 years.

Doesn't seem to take much rain to get the St Augustine grass to grow......time for the landscape maintenance folks to make their weekly rounds again. This stuff goes from brown to green in no time.

We got some rain today. Not much. While the storms were soaking most everywhere else, they just dropped a few raindrops on us and nothing else. I watched the radar and it looked like they just split apart right before reaching us.

I don't mind missing the high wind and lightening, but I wish we'd get more rain.

We did have a beautiful rainbow this evening.

Lots of rain! Here are some pics from a friend's place on Snell Isle. The double-rainbow was really beautiful!
