Hi, I'm looking to become a teacher of english to speakers of other languages. I would love to teach outside the US, but that is not possible at this time in my life. I have my Bachelors in Communications with a minor in TESOL. I have been working in non related fields since graduating in 07. My questions:

How do I become a teacher? Any further education I need?
Where can I teach? (Public/Private/College?)
What is an expected salary?

What is your experience in teaching English, what state do you teach in, what age range/cultural backgrounds of your students, etc.?

Any other further notes or information you can provide will be so helpful.

Check the website for the certification office of your state department of education. You may be able to use the alternate route certification to get a position for the fall. You will probably have to take a few deficiency classes in order to receive a regular certificate within three years. Your teaching options would be in k-12 public schools.

Have you done any tutoring, either formal or informal?

Yes I have done some tutoring, some paid some not. However that was a couple years ago and haven't really done anything related since. Can you give more details on the alternate route certification you mention?

The alternate routes are decided by the state you reside in, and sometimes even by the school district itself. So, you will have to check with the area that you want to work in. It is different everywhere. Also, you probably cannot teach at the collegiate level because you do not have an advanced degree. The salary also ranges depending on where you teach. You can find all of this information on school district websites, as they have to post it legally.

If you are an uncertified teacher with no experience your salary will be under 40k (99% chance of that) at a public school. Your salary increases with the number of years you teach and certification level. Your certification level increases with advanced degrees/further coursework.

However, the only way for you to get specific answers to your questions is to go on the school district websites.

If you are interested in teaching ESL/EFL overseas, I suggest that you get a TEFL or CELTA teaching certificate depending on which country you are interested in teaching in. I suggest also checking out Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages for other useful information.
