You are in way saying the same thing as him. We as a society do need to understand that not everyone can or should be taught in the same classroom. The district I just left is currently moving towards total integration with no pull out classes. That is a disservice to
everyone. Your kids, for instance, need more individual attention and the specialized instruction you see that they are given, because you are right the difference is in how you teach them. Not all kids need or would benefit from the way you teach or.... frankly, we can't afford to educate all kids the way yours are educated. "Regular" kids are simply cheaper to educate. We really need to do a serious evaluation of what "least restrictive environment" should look like and achieve.
