Exchange teaching materials? (teachers, cost, biology, logic)

With the cost of materials for teaching sources. I am wondering if any other teachers would like to exchange teaching materials?
For instance I am living in an area with a great deal of geological material available. for instance flourencent microcrystaline geodes. I could exchange them for...? you tell me what you have available and we can see what we can exchange. Specifically I would like to start biology next year with samples of cotton but let me know what you have available and IF I can't use them perhaps someone else can.

This sounds like a great idea. Try on one of the boards that is only for teachers. There are sites that are specifically designed for exchange of lesson plans and materials. Sorry, but I don't have any links.
