North Carolina teachers are just above Mississippi's pay scale--barely..

Typically TFA does NOT accept certified teachers. As they once told me they are NOT a job placement center.

They want undergrads who want to teach a few years and pay off student loans. They have recently been placing teachers in states / districts where there is friction between the labor unions / teacher associations and admin.

Or places like Omaha (I believe) and Huntsville Alabama where the district RIF's ALL the teachers under the guise of LOW PERFORMANCE on standardized tests or the teachers refusal to accept merit pay in lieu of steps / COLA.

TFA seems to be a anti teaching cult more focused on stripping teachers of rights and salary.
