Yes. Although I think Loudoun was scheduled to have a student holiday/teacher workday anyhow on Friday.

Same here, plus next Thursday is an early dismissal and Friday is a student holiday/teacher work day.

The forecasters are getting excited about a storm coming for us. If it comes the way the forecasts say, we may be out Monday and Tuesday.

Well, enjoy your time off. I'm thinking we're going to make it through this year without a single snow day. We're supposed to get rain as this storm passes through. The Detroit area is well south of the freeze line.

Prince William has a teacher work day Monday, so no school until Tuesday at the earliest. We are finally starting to slowly melt.

Fairfax and a couple other systems over there have already announced a 2 hour delay for Monday.

It's raining here. I guess I'd better go to bed on time, lol. No snow day for us. It's been a weird winter in SE Michigan. We've hardly had any snow and it got up to 50 degrees yesterday.

Semester 2 starts tomorrow. Half way through the year. I love the reset button at the end of each semester. I'm not behind on my grading or my planning right now. I had a nice relaxing weekend with NO PAPERS TO GRADE. That won't last long, lol.

Halfway through third term here with a high of 77. It was 25 last week. The saying in Mississippi in the winter is, if you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes and it will change.

Yes. We are on a two hour delay for a storm that ended last Sunday. Kind of a surprise, but not totally. We were out and about yesterday and today and commented often about intersections that had turn lanes blocked and two lane roads down to just a bit wider than one. It could all be fixed IMO by plowing, but that stopped days ago.

We have a snow day tomorrow! I'm betting on one for Tuesday as well.
