I received an e-mail from TESOL-On-Line concerning an ESL teacher position with a school in Malaga, Spain. The offer, conditions, locatiion, salary, etc seem pretty good. I have received several follow-up e-mails from them urging me to reply so they can inform the school and start processing my contract. There is a fee involved, of course. I have never dealt with a recruiting agency or any intermediary to secure ESL teaching jobs. I taught ESL in Korea before...but that was a direct deal. I was already in Korea working for U.S. DoD and someone at work referred me to a local language school to teach ESL and got the job immediately.
If anyone has had dealings with TESOL ON LINE before, please, I need your advice. If this is really a legitimate deal I'll reply with my acceptance. If not, I'll just decline the offer. Thanks.
PS: I already contacted Dave's ESL Cafe about this several days ago; still no answer. Can't wait much longer.

Sounds like a scam. No reason you should ever need to pay to apply for a job. Recruiters do not charge applicants (not real ones, anyway).
Thank you, Mnseca! You're right. It probably is. Good to keep your advice in mind. Well...no hurry; there will be others.
