Yeah, teachers are guilty even if middle school dropout parents think that Little Angel can skip school for three months without studying anything and still pass the class.
In the triangle Parent-student-School the side Parent ( responsibility toward) Student and the side Student ( responsibility toward) School have been deleted .
The only side remaining is "School to student". Guess who is getting the blame.

I'm sorry that you are having to deal with this! Many parents need to know there are "options" these days. If parents do not like how schools are ran, they should take them out and put them into another type of school setting, homeschool, private school, online school. Instead of blaming teachers for failing students, they need to realize that lack of absences means that the type of school is not for their child. Either the child needs to learn to be present more or the parents need to homeschool them. Parents need to realize that public schools have to keep attendance, and many of the times daily work is part of the grade. If one student gets to skip frequently and pass the class, it's unfair to the others that are there every day working hard. Many of these absent students do not complete work while gone and it makes it unfair for everyone else.
