Or at the very least any way to filter out categories between "legitimate TEFL jobs and recruiters", "legitimate jobs and recruiters with set arbitrary obstacles/hardships based on schedule and pay", and "Obvious scam?"
I've browsed a number of TEFL job boards and forums and clear answers on this seem few and far between. Additionally, forums often include disaffected employees of one or another company with an axe to grind, complicating matters further.
Just requiring them to get you a working visa, before you leave your home country, will eliminate 97% of them. The jobs that don't require a degree are terrible.
