Some of the remote towns in South Dakota and North Dakota, especially on the Indian Reservations, are always looking for teachers. You might have some luck in more rural areas of the northern states, especially if you teacher math, science, special education.

Areas of New Mexico, also, have had trouble attracting/keeping teachers. The Navajo Reservation is there and is in high desert country so, while I wouldn't really call it "4 season," it does get cold and snowy in the winter.

Unfortunately for me, I wish I could pick my employer. My area is elementary education. I know this is pretty much the same field as almost everyone else.
If you're willing to do inner-city, Philadelphia's been doing a lot of hiring. I know of a lot who are getting jobs in Virginia, as well (Stafford, Spotsylvania, Fairfax, Arlington, Shenandoah).
propably the mid-atlantic or high country areas in places like NM - other than that, anyplace that has had a lot of recent population growth
i know that a lot of people I grew up with in NY are now teaching in the carolinas
also, teachers down here in AZ flock from MN, WI, IA and OH
