I am currently a math teacher in Ohio with three years of experience and a BS in Mathematics Education. My husband and I are starting to think about moving and are researching jobs in other states. I was hoping some of you on here would be able to answer my question after searching online for the answer and getting pretty much no where. In Ohio, we are required to get a BS in the area we are teaching, then pass 3 test called the PRAXIS, teach on a 2 year provisional liscense, and then by the renewal of our 2nd professional degree we are now required to have our Master's Degree. I was hoping you all could tell me what are the requirements in your states (Montana and Wyoming), and do you eventually have to get your Master's Degree too? Thanks in advance for you help.
Did you check the state websites? Montana Board of Public Education has a link to answer questions. I'm in Tennessee, so I don't know the answer, but I would check the websites for each state.
AtoZteacherstuff.com has a great forum similiar to this one, but it is all teachers....you may find more people with info there!
