I'm confused, please explain
All this time I have been posting on this forum and thought I knew what I was doing. I see where someone posted a thread about Maryville under the Tennessee forum and someone moved it???? Since there isn't a place for Maryville anywhere else why wouldn't it go under the general Tennessee forum?
Where would a Maryville question go?
Tennessee - My guess would be here (for other places not listed)
Chattanooga - I wouldn't think it would go there.
Cookeville - IMO not here either
Kingsport, Johnson City, Bristol - Not here
Knoxville - I didn't think here
Memphis - Not here!!
Nashville - Not here!!
I always thought that if you had a question about a City or Town listed above, then that's where you would post. If the City or Town wasn't listed then you would post in the Tennessee forum.

Help me out here.
Maryville is part of metropolitan Knoxville. The Knoxville airport is adjacent to Maryville, for example. Had the OP followed the Terms of Service, which says to do a search before posting a new thread, s/he would've found there are tons of threads about Maryville in the Knoxville forum, not in the Tennessee forum.

That's why it was moved with a re-direct left in its place. We get the same thing for Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, etc. as well. We do a lot of moving around without ever leaving home.
