When the house is finished I will need some sod around the house. What does everyone do for grass? Do they lay sod or do grass seed. And would I be able to do it in Oct or Nov or is that too late?
All I could find was grass seed. I would rather lay sod close to the house and seed the rest a little at a time.

Spring or fall is the best time for either sod or seed.

Tinman, I have some of those automatic grass mowers and fertilizers, they work best for hill sides or wooded area where you can't get a mechanical mower into
