Welcome to TN! I know you've worked long and hard to make it.

Hope your husband isn't laid up long and that you have a good Thanksgiving.

I suspect your grandchild will love it here. Having our daughter go to school and be raised in this wonderful state has been the best out of all of the perks this area offers. How old is your grandchild? Our daughter attended five weeks of kindergarten and then we traveled to TN. Best thing we ever did. The difference in the two schools was amazing!

Hey there,
I'm glad to hear that your daughter adjusted so well. And all is good.
My grandaughter loves it here and loves her school. She is 7 years old. Hopefully she will continue to feel that way. And yes the difference in the two schools are like night and day.

Our daughter is 10 and still loves it, even after 5 years. I bet your granddaughter will, too. I have lots of family still in swFlorida and the kids grow up so fast there. I am far from a prude but I am glad that our kid is here and not there. Some folks think that it is the same everywhere, in this country, but that is far from true.

Not too many snowmen. I've yet to be able to make one in 6 winters. Way up in the Tri-Cities, last year, I think they were able to.
