The thing that I might add is the way people tend to get too nosey in the Mid-western and Southern states, where as it depends on how small the city is or if its a town per say. When people have more on their mind regardless of the slow paced of life side, they tend to forget things easier and not grief over it every minute. I find not ever letting go or getting out of someones business annoying. Its an extreme place

Default Slower pace of life

It's kind of an attitude really. Like you're committed to the principle that not many things are going to interfere with you enjoyment of life. Like, your Wife has been hounding you for two Months to repair the roof so it won't leak anymore. So one Morning you climb up and begin hammering away when a neighbor careens into your driveway with his Boat behing his pickup truck and yells that the Crappie are biting down at the Lake. Giving no consideration to the forecast of heavy rain on the morrow you immediately skinny down the ladder, grab your fishing gear and pile into the truck.

Yeah, well...that slower pace of life will speed up pretty quick and get the adrenalin moving when you get home from fishing and the wife is about to smack ya upside the head with a rolling pin! lol!
