Woke up to 8 inches in Van Buren County. Friends in Atlanta have about 3 or 4 inches and they're freaking out from excitement.

I let the dogs out this morning and the chihuahaus all vanished as soon as they hit the ground. One flat refused to stay out, so it's a potty pad day for her. 4 of them pottied and ran straight back in. Mine however hit the ground and was off. I'd just see the top of her bob up and down in the snow like a dolphin in the water. She ran all over that yard, panting like crazy from being so excited. Came in about 5 minutes later, frozen and covered in snow but happier than I've seen her in a while.

The big dogs love it. Even the very old shepherd we have is in heaven and playing like a puppy out there. Camera batteries are just about dead but I got some pictures. Will have to load them and post later. It's gorgeous. Just wish it would stick around for a month or so.

We have about 3 inches at my location in southeast Davidson County (Nashville). A friend who lives about 45 minutes south of here reports about 7 inches. We're having another snow shower now. It's really beautiful!

Odd, we still don't have anything.
A few flurries this morning, but the grass is till showing through the snow on the ground.
The forecast now is for ice pellets over the next several hours. Ice pellets??? Bleh, I'd rather have snow!
Anybody have pictures yet?

I haven't been outside since Sunday but I keep hearing sirens. Lucky for me, it's fairly flat in my immediate neighborhood but in other parts of Oak Ridge people have to worry about sliding down the hills once they are out of their driveways.
