I'm fine with that! Contrary to what you heard there's still a few nice New Yorkers but we're fleeing fast.

There's lots of nice New Yorkers. It's a stereotype.

Bledsoe county is kind of off the beaten path...I'm not sure who offers what down there. I'm guessing that's Charter Communications territory...so if you're looking for "high speed" DSL or cable, that would be where I would start.

I'm sure that the internet has finally reached that area...

Check with your real estate agent but I don't think Bledsoe has much of anything regarding internet. There's some sort of dial-up connection through the local phone company. Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative And even then, you are going to have to be on a street with several neighbors in order to probably have cable tv service.

Like I said, check with your agent or even your neighbors.

I take it back. They do have DSL but it is very pricey. Looks like digital tv is through the phone company, too. Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative

You sure aren't going to be in LI, anymore!

Thats what I'm hoping for. I've lived here my whole life, I've never owned a boat, haven't been to the beach in over ten years and spent more then my share of time in the city. I have family here so I will visit but I will be more then happy to have them come down and visit me. Thank you for the information on internet and tv.

Ive been to TN twice and loved it. No matter where I went, the folks were always down home and friendly. Its a real close comparison to OK, as far as hospitality. I love those southerners.
My next visit will probably be towards Hendersonville, I hear thats where June-Carter-Cash (Johnny Cash) had an antique store. Not sure if its still there but Id like to see their old hometown.
