I believe, if I am not mistaken Ridgerunner, that September falls in the month of September this year. Unless you are using the ancient Myan calendar, in which case it would be at a different time.

Thanks, NCG, for the Ancient History lesson. The earliest thing I can remember is the American Civil War (I was very young then), and it was not very civil.

I'm not sure, but I think I've just been called "ancient". Tell me Ridgerunner, during the civil war, that wasn't very civil, did they have the same problem with communication services?

Now that you mention it, I do remember reading something about the Telegraph Operators Union staging a work stoppage because their jobs were being outsourced to Canadian carrier pigeons. But I may have dreamed it.
