I had read a previous poster mention that Tennessee was not supposed to get any snow from of the current snow storm that is hitting so many states right now.

My question is:
What effects is everyone feeling thus far? snow, wind rain?
If you are getting snow form the storm, how much so far?

Specifically Cookeville, Crossville, Jamestown?

I'm in the southern part of Cumberland County (Crossville) and last night the winds were pretty bad. Our electricity went off, but only for a few minutes. We had some rain and then it calmed down in the late evening. This morning we had a light dusting of snow, but it is gone now (atleast from what I can see out my door).

Rain and lots of wind yesterday evening and last night. Saw a few flurries this morning. Cold. Going from 50's to 20's in a day.

It poured last night from 4:30pm until about 9:00pm. Just windy and cold over here around Athens no rain, flurries or snow today.

We didn't get anything. The snow stopped at the Kentucky line, as far as I know. They tend to get a lot more snow there.

I don't know how much longer I can handle this 20 degree weather. If it dips below 40 degrees, I'm miserable. The worst part is that I work outside at night when it is the coldest.

In the Memphis area, I think it was 20-30 all day yesterday, and they are expecting 30's today. We had some flurries overnight.

It should be 44 tomorrow in Knoxville and 50 on Sunday; 45 Monday. In another month we will start to see the signs of spring. Live up north and it doesn't get really nice until the end of May.
