In a continuing effort to promote tourism across the state, the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development has launched a new promotional campaign to highlight travel deals and specials throughout the state. Tennessee Travel Tuesdays (T3) is a fun way for tourists and locals to enjoy the many attractions Tennessee has to offer. Tourism partners from across the state submit deals that meet specific criteria, including 50 percent discounts and buy-one-get-one-free specials.

That's the news blurb (second story down). Now here is the Tennessee Travel Tuesday page on Tennessee's official Tennessee Vacation (travel and tourism) website. You can sort the offers by the kinds of deals you are looking for like accommodations, food and wine, music and the arts, attractions, history and heritage, outdoors, etc.) You can even sign up for e-mail notifications, Twitter, Facebook or text messages.

Very cool. The Knoxville zoo is on there. I love zoos. Maybe I'll stop in and big Hiknapster!

That would be great! It's a wee bit cold right now, but I think they said it was going to warm up soon.

I wish those coupons stated what area the businesses are in. Good idea, though.

Looks like this coming week we're warming up. In my area we actually get to 60 in the next week with partly cloudy skies! Good time for playing at the zoo!
