Update on the active / spirited thread from a few months ago, about the Chattanooga riverfront bluff, HoneyMoon Hotel.! The Five story 4836 sq ft structure is still unsold at $1.35 Million.
Five other houses ,in area, have been sold this year over million. Compared to the Atlanta, Chicago, and SOuth Fla market this price has a Lot to Offer, said one realtor.!
Wonder if they ever put the elevator in? Episodes are re-runing at 7:30 am Saturday if you did not see enough Family Fighting the 1st time around.

It's not the contest HGTV Dream Home. It was a house being built by a couple that HGTV filmed while it was under construction. I saw a couple of episodes and like the OP said, they were alway fighting and that turned me off. I'm kinda shocked it is still for sale and hasn't sold yet. I think the HGTV Dream Home in Texas (the contest one) is still for sale too.

Default Nope!

Ok, so I could not find an mls listing for the home, but I did a search on the county assessor's website and found a listing under her name and that led me to this listing on her dad's construction company website for it:

BR Smith Construction

Doesn't say a listing price though....If it is still listed in her name on the assessor's site, then it has not sold...

Thank you! After my post, I spent quite a bit of time trying to find out if it sold. The house was listed as recently as July 24 of this year. I am wondering if the house just went under contract... the most recent asking price was $1.25 million.

Just wondering, what is the tax assessor's web site (address, not a description)? Thank you!

Welcome to Hamilton County, Tennessee

Then go to the records online tab toward the upper right. You can do a search by name or address. I looked up her name, got the address and then did a search. I found out they filmed a movie there earlier this year. Nothing big though.

I know it sounds funny, but my car is in the shop today and it is my day off, so I drove my DH to work so I can have the car. He works on the northshore, which is near Stringer's Ridge where the house was built....soooooo, I drove by. There is no sign and the garbage can was overflowing full. From what I could see when I drove by, a couple of the rooms look like they have stuff in them, but mostly it looked empty. Maybe someone is moving in?

HTH!

Thank you! My husband and I have talked about driving by next time we are in the area (he is seriously addicted to all of the Dream House series). I am wondering if the house just closed... that is interesting about no sign plus the furniture. Thanks again!
