Hello all ,
Need some help and imput here please . Am looking at a move from Northern Illinois in a year and am seriously looking at the Cleveland Tn area as a place to settle . I know the weather will be alot BETTER than my current one , but i am also concerned about the cost of living expenses , as i will be in a semi-retired state when i move . The Wife and i would still need to work at least part time .
I currently own a home valued at around 100,000 dollars , and pay almost 3 thousand dollars a YEAR for property taxes on it . What tax burden would a similiar Home [or maybe even one valued at 200 Thousand ] , be
in this area of Tennessee ? Also.......If anyone here LIVES in Cleveland , what can you tell me about the area itself ? Plus AND minus ! I know it is kinda close to Chattanooga . But i really do NOT want to live right in Chattanooga.
Any help [and a fair assessment of this area ]. will be appreciated !
