Hi everyone. My husband and I are retired and are interested in relocating from Delaware. We have a daughter that lives in Huntsville that will be starting a family soon, and we'd like to be close to our grandchildren, but not too close if you know what I mean.

I've been reading these threads and researching properties, planning to take a look around central Tennessee next month.

What can anyone tell me about Shelbyville, or any of the other towns on the south, central portion of Tennessee? There's a house up on the northern end of Shelbyville that's initially caught my eye I intend to check out when I get there next month. We do need to be somewhere that we can get Internet and cable tv for my husband. We won't be looking for jobs and won't need alot of land. Thanks for any information.
