I was hoping for an electric bill break too. TN seems to be turning into a two-season state, at least the past couple of years.Or maybe it's just the part of the state where I live. We have summer and we have winter. We hardly had a fall, and spring has been jumping back and forth from much colder than normal to hotter than normal. I miss the 4 seasons we used to have.

I held off on a/c until yesterday. My dog had a really rough time with the heat the day before, so it was time to turn it on for him. He's a Northern breed and doesn't do well in hot weather, especially now that he's elderly and has health issues.

We still have a Fall. It lasts one or two weeks. Spring lasts longer but it's hot.

LOL! It has to last at least 3 weeks for me to consider it a season.

Same here! My Boston Terrier was panting inside the house so I turned it on for him.

No kidding! I was talking to a friend last night that still lives down there and she said it's well into the 90s. And she still thinks it's nice. I guess the humidity isn't quite 100% yet. I think I'd melt if I went back to visit now. I told her I'll come down when they have their three nice days each year.

Why do people call that place paradise? You've got to stop on the surface of the sun to acclimate yourself before you get down there. Icky hot and sticky. Don't miss it at all!
