Default Pet Friendly Hotel/Motel/Cabin:COOKEVILLE?

Anyone from Cookeville area that would be able to recommend a hotel/motel there that is also pet friendly? Coming up for a mini-vacation and hate to leave our small pet behind.
I see DAYS INN and KEY WEST are pet friendly - but the remarks from previous "stays" are not the best. Fearful of reserving. Saw Baymont but $100 a night? In that case would be more interested in cabin rental up there if possible. Any suggestions, greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check out Alpine Lodge and Suites. It's got a web site with coupons (if you can't find it on Google I can send it to you). I don't know how much they charge for small pets, but they do have pet-friendly rooms for an additional fee. It used to be a Howard Johnson's and is a very nice place with beautiful views of Poplar Grove. It's run by a friendly retired couple from Austria.

Good luck!
