She's going to Memphis for the Elvis Fest. I can't remember if it's to celebrate his birth or death, but it's a big thing for alot of people who are nuts about Elvis. Obviously, I'm not.
But, she's going to get to go to TN before I do!!! Waaaaaahhhh!!
She'll be bringing me a fridge magnet. I think I'd prefer a parcel of property in TN, but that's just my druthers.
I've been to Tennessee before, but it's been many many moons ago. And from what I recall, we cut across Chattanooga, because I vividly remember Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls. We eventually ended up in Texas on that particular trip. I was 10 years old.
All other road trips to the South were down I-95 from DC to FL, and points in between.
Anyway, my sister wants me to pick her up at the airport on the 18th. I can't remember what time, but I'll check that as the date gets closer. She'll spend that nite with me, and her hubby will pick her up here.
I'm still jealous tho. Even tho it's the wrong end of Tennessee, she'll be IN Tennessee.
Ah well! When we get our acreage in TN, I'll invite her to spend a vacation at my Shenandoah Health Resort and Ice Cream Sundae Farm.
