Welcome to Tennessee.

Now I'll have to go look at a map to find out where Bean Station is, 'cause I sure don't know. ;-)

Welcome aboard, Phyll. To Alleycat: Bean Station is 10 miles north of Morristown where 11W and 25E intersect. Prior to the opening of I-81, it was notorious for being a center of .....shall we say..... lascivious entertainment for truck drivers.

One other thing, Phyll. You remind me of Asbury Park. I had fun there.

I go through Bean Station on 11W several times a month. I've got friends out in Mooresburg and 11W is the most pleasant way to get there from Knoxville.
I'm stunned at how much development is going on around the lake. I had to take a detour one day and couldn't believe all the subdivisions and even condos that are going up on the lake.
Very independent little town with a lot of history.

Why do I remind you of Asbury Park? Are you from that area? I ask for a reason, but will answer why after your post ..phyl
