But that's kind of the point. Those programs pay for your tuition so that you will teach at difficult inner-city schools. If it wasn't that way, then everyone would want to do it.

There are so many elementary applicants for each position I can't imagine any district offer a bonus for elementary ed teachers.

Pretty sure Nashville does that for Math and I heard Rutherford County does pay for a Math endorsement, but I can't confirm this.
