Question How's the winters in E. TN?

Just wondering how the winters are around the Cleveland/Athens area

They are relatively mild,but that is what I believe and I grew up in Ct, so mild to me might be different to you. The best bet is to check out Sperlings best places to live. they have inches of snow per year under the climate tab.

What are these "winters" and "snows" of which you speak? We do not have such things here. We do have lots of mud, though.

In my part of Tennessee (northeast), we do have snow, which I always eager anticipate. It will snow anywhere from a dusting to several inches, but will be gone in less than 3 days usually. This happens several times a winter, but we only have about 5 days with an inch of snow or more.

The average high temps in January (which is our coldest month) range from about 25 to 45 degrees.

One thing I really like is that we have 3 months (the actual calendar seasons) apiece for each of the four seasons .... not too many places that can say that.
