Exclamation Loved Our Tn Vacation - Cookeville/Crossville!

Just a quick thank you to all of you who posted about Cookeville and Crossville. Because of this, my hubby and I just arrived back from visiting that area and I must admit - you Tennessee folks are SOOOOOO LUCKY! No one, but no one can tell me a bad thing about TN. If you move there EMBRACE IT! It was wonderful! We hope to move there someday, really soon! We loved the pace, the terrain, the people = EVERYTHING! We never said, once, "well we do it like this back home,"..we would ask "How do you do it here?" and then we did it! Like I said - EMBRACE IT or why even be there?!! WE LOVED IT!! JUST LOVED IT!

Thanks to you all who have privately messaged me and esp to John for suggesting that I post some photos. I went ahead and posted them on one of our websites (I am a webbie) so please take a look! Not many photos, but those of you who never have been to TN you will DROOL! Love to climb those ledges, watched the sunset, smell the fresh air and well just take it all in! Can't wait to come back! Loved Fall Creek Falls State Park - sure the falls were not big due to your drought but it was still a gorgeous park!

Ok - here is the page: OUR TN TRIP - AUGUST 2007
ENJOY!
And thank you again for sharing your great comments about TN, we feel alive again! THANK YOU!!! Hope this feeling stays in us for awhile, even though we are back in race-paced Florida! THANKS GUYS!!
TJ & MARK

I just moved to Cookeville about 5 weeks ago. It *is* perfect! I'm still in awe, and so very thankful to be here. I've never been to any other place like it, and I don't think I'll ever leave!

What a great post! I'm so glad you like it in Cookeville. If you don't mind telling us, what about Cookeville do you like? There are some in this forum who are thinking of moving there and might like to hear why you love it so much. They're probably tired of hearing me talk about how much I like Cookeville.

Default I'm on my way!

Hubby and I have left our relatives in Michigan and are going to see the Cookeville/Crossville area tomorrow. Right now we're at the Quality Inn just south of Louisville. We'll get up in the morning and head to Nashville and over to the C/C area. On the way up we toured the Tri-City area and Oak Ridge. We loved it all!

This forum and these posts help SOOO much. Keep 'em coming!
