I myself like Northeast Tennessee. The Tri Cities offers alot more then most people recognize in my opinion. Johnson City and Kingsport put up a good fight against one another. I had to say Johnson City since it was closer to Roan Mountain. Nashville seemed like a nice metro area when I was there, which wasn't long at all. I did spend some time down by Sweetwater and that area really got me too. I think no matter where I go in Tennessee I will find the Tri Cities area to be my favorite.

One thing I regret, I never did spend anytime in Knoxville. It's a shame, I hear many, many good things about the city.
