That's a funny name. In Cookeville "Shake Rag Road" has degenerated into "Shag Rag" which is a funny name in and of itself (if you think about it in a perverted way...)

How about "Booger Swamp" near Cookeville and Algood....
Did I mention the town of Defeated in Jackson County?
How about Red Boiling Springs in Macon County?
How about Allardt (pronounced Al-lert) in Fentress County?
How about Dunlap in Sequatchie County? "Dun-lapped over my belt" or the "Dunlap Disease" referring to waist sizes!  Ok, I made that last sentence up!
I live in Putnam County and some who've lived here all their lives actually think it's "Put-man"....some are elected officials...guess that tells a lot about us!

Yeah, Penile Hill Rd. just off hwy 64 has always caught my attention too, Joann. Another funny one around here is "Geterdone Lane." Sure makes you proud to live in Winchester!
